Episode 3 – Death By Cell Tower!

Episode 3 – Death By Cell Tower

Rod Weatherbie and Lidia Shaw join your intrepid host Dave Noel in a news discussion from their homeland of PEI. Summed up… Cell phone towers don’t cause cancer! Scoffing in the face of popular island opinion, we explore the science that backs our audacious claim.

Show Notes:

Findings from a long-term Danish study found in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
Conclusions: The results of this investigation, the first nationwide cancer incidence study of cellular phone users, do not support the hypothesis of an association between use of these telephones and tumors of the brain or salivary gland, leukemia, or other cancers.

  1. Please note, I forgot to add any show notes to this episode… by bad. Please see the article I found in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute. It sites multiple peer reviewed studies that support the null hypothesis that no links have been found in a controlled clinical setting between cancer and cell phone radiation.

  2. thousands of studies confirm that radio frequency radiation from cell phones, towers, wi fi, toys and rfid chips alter all biological systems. this is now irrefutable. studies can be read if you follow the links this piece does not refer to or refute any of the actual science but only refers to vague “studies” or anecdotal stories without looking at the science. the latest studies from sweden confirm this. we are looking at a repeat of tobacco by 100x/s. you are criticizing those “without” the scientific background without having any of your own. I will debate this subject with anybody on your show. That is a challenge.

    • Hi Wire!

I welcome any clean conversation regarding the science presented in this podcast. If you feel you have a valid claim to state against the facts presented in this piece, please feel free to contact us via the contact form on the “Contact Us” page.

Would you mind giving me a few links to the Swedish studies you mentioned, so I can get acquainted with your argument? I understand the particle physics part of the story, and the photon energy intensity argument provided in the podcast, but I can’t seem to find any concrete, reproducible clinical studies on living animals that show direct adverse effects from Radio EM Radiation exposure.

      Thanks for your interest.

Um… RFID chips are passive and don’t emit any EM radiation until in the presence of a low level EM field. How do they alter ALL biological systems?

Also, is there any evidence for tagged endangered animals developing Cancer from radio tracking collars, systems that are very similar to Cell phones? Why would conservationists endanger these animals even further if the technology is sooooo deadly? I don’t get it.
