Theremin Project – Quick Build

This is a homemade theremin I put together in about 12 hours. I’m trying to get a little more comfortable with audio circuitry so I decided to tackle a musical instrument that has a real reputation for being finicky when it comes to RF shielding, dirty power sources and stray EM fields. The process was fun, involved, and quite painful at times. I’ll walk through the finer points of Theremin tuning and overall functionality in a later episode. I really need practice.
